Harry Potter Quiz: How Much Do You Know About The Ministry Of Magic?

The political side of the Harry Potter series was never front and centre (which is a good thing), but J.K. Rowling still gave us plenty of information about this aspect of the wizarding world.

We only see glimpses of the Ministry's activity during Harry's earliest adventures. Cornelius Fudge is introduced in The Chamber of Secrets and we get to see more of the Ministry's actions in The Goblet of Fire as well. But Harry doesn't physically go to the Ministry of Magic until The Order of the Phoenix. During this adventure, we get to see the spectacular atrium, the weird lifts, a mighty courtroom, and the mysterious Department of Mysteries.

Whilst this is all very interesting, the best part of the Ministry is the people who work there. Arthur Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Mad-Eye Moody and Nymphadora Tonks are all held in high esteem by the Harry Potter fanbase, and with good reason.

Of course, despite how many heroic individuals work at the Ministry, it's full of villains, too. Dolores Umbridge is probably the most hated character in the whole franchise.
