Spoiler Alert! More spy photos have emerged from yesterdays The Dark Knight Rises shoot which may hint at another villain entering the fray. Keep in mind this is strictly speculation on what the photo's could mean and doesn't confirm anything. It's us guessing, basically. Ever since she joined the cast it has been speculated that Marion Cotillard will be playing the role of Talia Al Ghul, the daughter of Batman Begins villain Ra's Al Ghul. This was later debunked by Warner Brothers, who issued a press release on the casting which stated that Cotillard would instead be playing Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member who is an original character to the Batman Universe. Though from day one, we weren't buying Miranda Tate. Think Liam Neeson and the Henri Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul setup and you might get the idea. When previously asked about the role Cotillard simply replied that the character is a secret and would not divulge any more information. Fans of Chris Nolan know how airtight he is when it comes to spoilers and if he is ever needed to give away any info on one of his films he prefers the smoke and mirrors approach. Many fans don't buy that Miranda Tate is nothing more than a board member for Bruce Wayne's company and of course still believe that she is playing Talia. Well these photos. while not really confirming these suspicions, certainly add fuel to the fire. The solider following behind her could very easily be holding her hostage or someone else following her orders. Like I said it confirms nothing but it'll be fun to see how it turns out. In the comics, Bane joined Ra's Al Ghul's League of Shadows (a group who also appeared alongside Ghul in Batman Begins) and he was even considered to be a suitable heir and a potential husband for Talia. The choice of Bane for The Dark Knight Rises was an interesting an unexpected choice, however when you take into account what Nolan previously said about this movie having very close ties to Batman Begins, it would seem to make sense that Talia would be used in the film to carry on her fathers legacy with Bane, if you were so inclined to see it that way. We are still a year away and while I understand that this article is just throwing out theories with no concrete facts to support them - it is fun to speculate, and hopefully it will make the time go faster.
