Although it looked as though there had been something of a falling out prior to the announcement that GDT's Hellboy threequel wouldn't be moving forward, it looks as though Ron Perlman is just as excited as we are to see Harbour take on the role.
We have Patton Oswalt to thank for that, as the actor facilitated a meeting between both Hellboys to discern a consensus regarding the project back in August. It received the Perlman stamp off approval (or the lunch did, we're not quite sure), and it's nice to know that the actor's looking forward to the film as much as we are.
We're yet to hear del Toro's thoughts on the film, but if it's half as good as that first one, then he'll have to be a fan as well.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
