"He's a cold blooded, mass-murdering clown"

Someone messed up somewhere and that Joker image that is going to grace the new issue of the Empire magazine here in the U.K. has leaked a couple of days early. Fire that office junior with a fake gun that shoots out BANG! Oh no, I don't think Heath Ledger's version of the Joker will be doing anything like that I'm afraid.

The best thing we keep hearing about the movie is how the character won't be the main focus like he was in Tim Burton's film, but he will be more of a threatening presence. Which is just terrific. Imagine feeling like he's around every scene, forcing Batman to delve further into his own psyche than before... pushing him with his homicidal acts. That's how I remember The Joker from the comics. Always around... he could turn up at any moment and spoil Bat's day. I have a feeling Nolan will do something like that with his film. He won't always be on screen but you will always feel his presence. Best selling issue of Empire of all time? It really goes without saying that exclusive cover image will sell it's fair share of copies. Fingers crossed we will get some more juicy marketing before the end of the year.
