20 Horror Franchises That NEED To Come Back
1. 30 Days of Night
30 Days of Night, the vampire film based on the comic book series of the same name, was a relatively modest hit yet has endured as something of a cult fave over almost the last two decades.
Neither the 2010 direct-to-DVD sequel, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, nor two TV miniseries made much of a dent, but that hasn't stopped fans clamouring for some sort of bigger-budget return to the world of the original movie.
The central idea, of a pack of vampires descending upon an Alaskan town as it's plunged into polar night for 30 days, is brilliant and ripe to be explored further in another sequel or, more likely, a reboot-slash-reimagining.
With the original film recently announced to be getting a new 4K steelbook to commemorate its imminent 20th anniversary, we can only hope it might show the bigwigs that there's still plenty of interest in the series.
