How Avengers Endgame Completely Changes Spider-Man: Far From Home's Trailer

So... when does the film take place REALLY?

Although audiences have another couple of months to wait until Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theatres, the film was on plenty of people's minds going into Avengers: Endgame.

Ostensibly set immediately after Endgame, Sony and Marvel were faced with the prospect of marketing a film without spoiling the most talked about movie of the year, and though Far From Home's teasers gave away a lot, Endgame's conclusion was kept under lock and key.

Now that most Marvelites have seen Endgame however, a great deal more about Far From Home's plot can be discerned. It makes re-watching the film's trailer with new eyes a worthwhile exercise, with the added context provided by the fourth Avengers able to clue us in on Peter Parker's state of mind, the world in general, and even why Nick Fury and Mysterio are involved to begin with.

Far From Home may no longer be the start of Phase 4, but it'll be our first window into what the MCU looks like after Endgame's earth shattering finale. There's no turning back, and while we're likely to get another Spidey trailer within the next couple of weeks, it's interesting to see how that initial teaser has aged after the Fallen finally returned.
