How Avengers: Endgame Completely Changes The MCU

8. Professor Hulk Is Here To Stay

Speaking of the Hulk, after being unable to summon his alter ego throughout the entirety of Infinity War, Endgame shows that Bruce Banner has finally been able to find balance between him and the other guy. It's not explained exactly just how he managed to figure it out, but instead of viewing the Hulk as a "disease", Banner embraced his other side at some point during the five-year jump, mixing the brains with brawn.

By the looks of it though, that also means the new Professor Hulk persona is unchangeable, and he'll be stuck in that state for future movies. The only time we see Banner in his human form after the time jump is during his confrontation with the Ancient One, who phases him out of Professor Hulk's body and doesn't count as a real transformation.

Considering that Prof Hulk was low-key the MVP of Endgame though, this change is more than welcome, and if Marvel don't finally give him his own solo movie after this, then they can never be trusted again.
