2. How He Can Continue: Roll The Character Into The 'Venomverse'
Whether retired, killed or thrown into the multiverse, Sony could then simply have Tom Holland's Spidey appear in the Venom movies.
If retired or killed then the version that appears would obviously have to be the one from the reality that Venom takes place in and should therefore probably be given a unique suit and maybe a difference in age (maybe make him in his early twenties like Holland is) to clearly define him from the MCU incarnation.
And, if travelling the multiverse, well, the solution is quite simple, isn't it? Just have him visit Venom's world.
With Andy Serkis secured as director for Venom 2, the character seems to be going in a bigger and better direction, and what better way to up the ante than by adding in ol' web-head?
