7. The Hulk

While Thor: Ragnarok's ending implied that Bruce Banner might be gone for good, with the Hulk having retained his form for so long, it looks as though both sides of the character will be mounting a return for Infinity War.

Even better, however, is the fact the two will be returning for the fourth Avengers film, and with an interaction between the jolly green giant and Brie Larson's Captain Marvel nigh but confirmed, it's clear that the Hulk will be playing a prominent role.

Whether it's his last, however, is a whole other question altogether. Fans have been clamouring for a solo Hulk film ever since Ruffalo was cast in the role, but with Marvel having since commented that the character has received his own trilogy (of sorts) in each Avengers feature, it could be that they look to make this the character's last foray in the spotlight.
