10 Ways Film Geeks Can Survive A Zombie Apocalypse

2. Do A Thorough Audit Of How Immoral Your Ancestors Were

In John Carpenter€™s The Fog, it€™s the descendent of the original evildoers who has to pay for his forebear€™s crimes. Father Malone is basically blameless, but the fact that his grandad did a little bit of murdering and plundering in the past makes him a marked man. Well, that and his love of gold. (It€™s worth noting that it€™s not entirely clear as to whether the things which attack Antonio Bay are zombies or just very dense ghosts. Either way, they are peeved in the extreme and don€™t seem inclined to drop a grudge.) Father Malone makes the cardinal error (pardon the pun) of going €œOh hang on they said they€™d kill six people and they€™ve only done five, what a lucky break for old Maloney eh€ or words to that effect. Pretty much as soon as he€™s said that, he gets decapitated from about 30 feet away by a peeved ghoul. Just keep your head down, or you run the risk of having it lopped off.
