20 Upcoming Movies That Have Already WON

Considering that both live-action Street Fighter movies to date have been different flavours of terrible, it was easy to be skeptical about a third finally getting things right.

Until Paramount started dropping trailers, anyway, which have made it abundantly clear that the filmmaking team is keen to fully embrace how gosh-darn ridiculous the beat 'em up video game franchise is, rather than try to pretend otherwise.

Simply, this movie looks absolutely outrageous, and thank God.

But more than that, the marketing has done a fantastic job of selling it as fun, pulpy, and colourful - everything that's true of the source material. 

Throw in a stupendously diverse cast - including Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Roman Reigns, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Eric André, 50 Cent, and Jason Momoa - and this seems to be doing all the right things so far.

And if you're somehow still not convinced, Chun-Li actress Callina Liang even grew her thighs by 6.5cm in order to better embody the larger-than-life character. What's not to like?
