Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a highly intelligent psychiatrist who will snake his way first into your heart and then into your head. He also happens to be one of the most infamous fictional serial killers on record and ups the murder ante with his penchant for cannibalism. His evil brilliance is masterfully intertwined with odd charm and unmatched wit. He's a delightfully lovable sociopath that you can't get enough of. Sure, he murders people and eats them every now and then. That's just part of the wonderful enigma that is Hannibal Lecter. Sure, deep philosophical ramblings and sage wisdom are great, but they come with a price. Hannibal doesn't hand out his brain nuggets without a motive. Allowing him to enter your mind can be your ultimate undoing. But what if he allowed you to enter his? If the good doctor were practicing his macabre brand of psychiatry today, he would most certainly be part of the internet movement. One could only imagine that his social media presence would no doubt be profoundly engaging. Imagine if the world was given permission to view his personal moments through the occasional Valencia filter, complete with unique hashtags. Who wouldn't click the follow button?
