Indiana Jones 5: 10 Actors Who Could Replace Shia LeBeouf
3. Matt Bomer Could Play A Young Male Rival
In White Collar, Matt Bomer plays one of the coolest characters on television, Neil Caffrey. That sense of style, charm and intelligence he conveys as a world-class art thief and counterfeiter would make him a brilliant foil for Indy; new blood threatening to steal the 'old man's' thunder. Like Ryan Gosling, he has the looks to attract the female (and gay) audience but unlike Gosling his Hollywood career has been largely support roles. Bomer's role could be someone who is everything Indy used to be. Cooler, slicker and cocky, with his own sense of style and skills that put Indy in clear second place. Bomer's character could be one that audiences enjoy despite the fact he is thwarting our hero in the search for the fabled treasure...at least until his cockiness wears out and Indy takes the prize!
A writer for Whatculture since May 2013, I also write for TheRichest.com and am the TV editor and writer for Thedigitalfix.com . I wrote two plays for the Greater Manchester Horror Fringe in 2013, the first an adaption of Simon Clark's 'Swallowing A Dirty Seed' and my own original sci-fi horror play 'Centurion', which had an 8/10* review from Starburst magazine! (http://www.starburstmagazine.com/reviews/eventsupcoming-genre-events/6960-event-review-centurion) I also wrote an episode for online comedy series Supermarket Matters in 2012. I aim to achieve my goal for writing for television (and get my novels published) but in the meantime I'll continue to write about those TV shows I love!
