Indiana Jones 5: 10 Actors Who Could Replace Shia LeBeouf

4. Hire Maggie Q As A Mysterious Female Archaeologist

What about a female version of Indy who is younger, skilled and more determined than he? This would certainly bring a new edge to the film as Indiana Jones searches for the relic in question, only to be outwitted at every step by someone with more energy and wit than he, who has the looks and skills to achieve her goals. (Wisdom and experience has to win through in the end of course; Indy is the hero after all). Maggie Q would be a perfect choice, both in terms of character and setting. The last film ventured into the jungles of South America; what about a search for an ancient oriental treasure this time round? Maggie Q has both the Vietnamese heritage, experience working in Asian cinema and proven martial art skills (she worked with Jackie Chan). A character that can be a master of disguise (see her work as spy Nikita) and a skilled fighter, she could be the ultimate grey character; an ally and rival of Indy's in equal measure.
