8. Bradley Cooper Could Be The New Indy
Around a year ago rumours swirled around the Cooper was the man that Disney wanted to replace Ford, especially if headed down the Bond-style route. While there hasnt been an awful lot of talk about him since then, he could still be in the running for the new film. Hes show himself to be an actor with the requisite action chops, who would also be capable of delivering plenty of wisecracks. Hes received three Oscar nominations on the bounce, which has sent him right to the top of the acting A-list, and hes probably a name most films will consider. Hes already worked with Disney, voicing Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, and it wouldn't be a total surprise if they gave him another call for this one. One casting rumour that would be a bit of a shock, and also did the rounds last year, is that which would see Robert Pattinson taking on the role. He has shown a willingness to take on risky and challenging films outside of the Twilight Saga, and proven he is a talented actor. However, his skill set doesnt really suggest hed be a good fit for Indy, and the ill-feeling many have towards the Twilight films means his casting would probably be greeted with a reception that makes the Ben Affleck Batman announcement look like the declaration of world peace.
