Indiana Jones & The Dial Of Destiny Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

2. The Final Set-Piece Is WILD

Again without giving anything away, James Mangold and company deserve credit for taking a big, wild swing with the movie's climactic set-piece.

The result is by far the most outlandish and ambitious action sequence in the entire series, and while some might find it a step too ridiculous, it ultimately proves to be the only set-piece in the movie with a real sense of personality and adventure.

With this being the final Indy movie, why the hell not? Rather than end the film with yet another chase or confrontation with a supernatural entity, it goes somewhere else entirely, and the result is by far the most genuinely fun section of the entire movie.

If you're prepared to go in with an open mind and embrace the weird, it's a blast of a sequence.
