Without question the MVP of The Dial of Destiny is composer John Williams, who at 91 years of age adds another incredible score to his cachet, enough that he could even end up snagging a Best Original Score Oscar nomination.

After all, Williams has intimated that this will likely be his last major movie score, and while it's obviously relatively reliant on his existing leitmotifs from the prior films, there's still a ton of fantastic original work to savour.

While so many aspects of the film just don't measure up to the original trilogy, it's clear that Williams once again gave 110%, delivering a score that effortlessly ventures from peppy jaunts to intense orchestral swells.

As a capstone to an incredible career, it's certainly a terrifically appropriate way for Williams to bow out - and he knocks it out of the park.
