3. An Awkward Thor And Valkyrie Moment
Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder was put through the wringer in Avengers: Endgame so perhaps Marvel Studios just decided that this was one blow too many for the hero? After bidding farewell to Valkyrie, Thor misinterprets an innocent arm squeeze as something more and leans in for a kiss with the warrior.
The newly appointed King of Asgard definitely isn't interested, though, and quickly turns down her friend's advances. It's a humorous exchange and one which would have added perhaps a little too much levity to the film's closing moments. It might have also been too on the nose when it comes to addressing Valkyrie's sexuality.
At last year's Comic-Con in San Diego, it was confirmed that Thor: Love and Thunder will feature Valkyrie attempting to find her Queen so that film clearly won't shy away from addressing her status as a lesbian. With that in mind, it might be for the best that this heavy-handed, but undeniably amusing, moment was cut.
