What youve seen of Interstellar thus far strongly suggests an epic action/thriller with heavy doses of drama thrown in, but those arent the genres that best describe it, according to one of its stars at least. As much as the film is about outer space and like the most incredible action, adventure, epic, epic film, its so much about love. You dont have to be an expert on science fiction or the oeuvre of Christopher Nolan to figure out that Interstellar isnt likely to be confused with the next Star Wars movie, but it would appear that the theme of the film is critical to Nolans intentions.
