1. North Korea Is Liberated, Sook Becomes The New Supreme Leader?
The movie ends with Skylark at a reading event for his book, An Unexpected Journey: Telling All, and a cut to the Skylark offices reveals via a TV screen that democratic elections are to be held in North Korea, with a somewhat tactic implication that Sook is to be the popular choice for the new Supreme Leader position, rather than simply installing yet another tyrant, as she previously expressed fear about. Then, Aaron and Sook chat over Skype (suggesting that the intrusive sanctions on North Korean Internet have been lifted), and Aaron tells her that he and Skylark named the new Digby Kim Jong-un, and after Sook remarks that it's "pretty f***ed up", Aaron can't help but agree but also declare, "it's super f***ed up, but he's cute though." Skylark's reading from his book plays us out and the credits roll. The End. Have you seen The Interview yet? What did you think? Was it worth all the fuss? Shout it out in the comments!
