Although we may first see this being fully operational in Avengers: Age of Ultron (assuming there has been enough time to convert it since the events of the first Avengers movie and assuming that some of the movie is actually going to be set in New York), you can be certain that the Avengers Tower will appear in the next Iron Man movie if it happens. Of course, this building was previously Stark Tower ("a beacon of clean energy"), but the damage caused by the battle of New York left only an "A" in place from the previous lettering, which was extremely suggestive, and the movie came to a close with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts surveying plans which appeared to make room for all of the Avengers' members in the building. It was then briefly seen in the background in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. While it will undoubtedly be the Avengers' base when they're in New York, it will also remain one of Tony Stark's many homes and, as a result, it will certainly be a key location in any future Iron Man movies.
