4. 80s Pop Culture References EVERYWHERE

The '80s callbacks don't stop with A Nightmare on Elm Street. It goes to great lengths to recreate the decade that fashion forgot.

That movie theatre displays poster for other attractions that would have been playing back in the late 1980s, from Lethal Weapon 2 to Tim Burton's Batman. There's even an arcade machine with the original Street Fighter up and running.

Then there's the soundtrack, which includes some of the decade's favourites such as The Cult, The Cure, Anthrax, and Ben and Bev's favourites, New Kids on the Block.

It couldn't be any more '80s unless every character sported big hair, shoulder pads and looked like Molly Ringwald (who also gets a mention).
