James Bond: 10 Best Weapons In The 007 Movies

9. Yo-Yo Saw - Octopussy

You have to love the camp silliness of Roger Moore's era, but even the most die-hard fans must admit that Mr. Broccoli pushed things too far in some places, which is why you won't see Moonraker's dumb laser blaster on this list.

The buzzsaw yo-yo is in a similar vein, but at least it's somewhat realistic in that it looks pretty damn deadly and could do some damage! This weapon is wielded by an assassin hired by Kamal Khan to eliminate Bond. A pair of buzzsaw blades hooked together, this took out spy operative Vijay in a single stroke, and came incredibly close to killing Bond himself were it not for an ill-timed drop of water that gave away its position.

The deadly effect of the blade is demonstrated throughout the thug's short life, as it destroys the bed of Octopussy using only rotational momentum rather than a motor. Sadly, the weapon wasn't used for long as its wielder got into a fistfight with Bond before being fed to a crocodile.
