James Bond: 10 Greatest Animal Moments In 007 Films

8. Water Wrestling a Python in Moonraker

Moonraker Water Wrestling Python Capitalizing on the post Star Wars space race, 1979's Moonraker takes Roger Moore literally out of this atmosphere. However, before the film gets to outer space, Bond first finds the Moonraker base. A bunch of women watch him as he takes a few steps down some rocky platforms. Suddenly one of the rocks lifts sideways, depositing him into a tropical pool. Immediately a huge python wraps itself around Bond, drowning him while the creepy Moonraker girls watch. Of course, Moore is not going to be one-upped by a mere snake. He kills the Python with his fountain pen just in time for a more deadly animal, the giant killer-for-hire, Jaws, to lift him out of the pool. Roger Moore is a tall guy. However, standing next to Richard Kiel, the actor who played Jaws, he looks no taller than your average great grandma. That guy is huge.
