10. Oddjob - Goldfinger (1964)
A man that still sends shivers down your spine, the smug faced and silent assassin made 'Goldfinger' the film it is. From the iconic moment he chops off the statue's head to his demise at Fort Knox, Oddjob is a henchman icon of cinema and a man you can't help but love to hate. Since 'Goldfinger' the character has appeared in cartoon series 'James Bond Jr. as well as being the influence for Austin Powers' Random Task. "I mean seriously, who throws a shoe?" Harold Sakata played Oddjob with sinister silence, the olympic weightlifter and wrestler was hired purely on his physical strength. Beating James Bond in strength, he became the stereotype for 007 to come across a henchman he can't beat. British actor Milton Reid also auditioned for the role of Oddjob, suggesting that him and Sakata wrestle, the winner taking the role. Reid had already played a character in 'Dr.No' and ultimately Sakata got the role for his intimidating stare. What makes Oddjob even better was that he was unlockable to play in N64's 'Goldeneye', probably the best game of all time. What makes you hate him even more....he is responsible for the iconic gold paint sequence and death of Jill Masterson.
