6. Nick Nack - The Man With The Golden Gun (1974)
A snappy dresser with a penchant for assassinations, Herve Villechaize's character 'Nick Nack' was a hybrid between Ronnie Corbett and Jeeves. In The Man with the Golden Gun Nick Nack caused nothing but trouble for 007 as he pitched wits against the film's main antagonist Francisco Scaramanga. A trained assassin and apparently Cordon Bleu chef, Nick Nack was Scaramanga's right hand man. Polite and GSOH Nick Nack sounds like the perfect date, if not for his constant attempts on your life. He often tried to hire other assassins to kill off Scaramanga, knowing that he is sole heir to the madman's fortune. for the finale, after a last attempt on Bond's life, Nick Nack is stuffed into a suitcase and hung in a cage atop the ship, well I suppose it is one way to make up your baggage allowance. On the plus side Nick Nack gave us the inspiration for one of James Bond's greatest spoofs, being cited as most of the inspiration behind Austin Powers' character Mini-Me.Villechaize was born in 1943 and is the first recorded case of short limb dwarfism known to science.
