1. Henry Cavill

It's safe to say the last few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions for Henry Cavill. The hysteria that supported and surrounded his Superman return was soon replaced by heartbreak in that his services were no longer required by DC figureheads James Gunn and Peter Safran. But you know what they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure and Henry’s new-found availability could allow him to trade the cape for cufflinks, finally claiming the 007 title as his own that he once came so close to achieving back before Daniel Craig’s casting.

Let’s be honest, he’s pretty perfect, isn’t he? Arguably the most handsome man on the planet, he’s certainly no one-trick pony, and this is made evident within the plethora of performances he's accumulated over the years. You could’ve guessed Henry would take the gold medal in this particular race but in reality, he ticks all the necessary boxes required to be Bond.

He’s dashing yet daring, with an unmatched physique and physicality that he brings to his roles, and let’s not forget that the 39-year-old is well-versed in what it takes to be an assassin/spy on-screen as The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Mission: Impossible - Fallout display, as well as Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming Argylle will feature Cavill taking on the titular role as the quote ‘world’s greatest spy’. He's a household name for sure, breaking the usual 007 casting norm, but this shouldn’t be much of a problem. After all, who’s better?
