2. Harry Osbourne - Spider-Man Saga
This one might draw some ire from people as Sam Raimi's trilogy about Peter Parker's alter ego is much beloved. Part of what made this saga great was that it kicked off with Willam Dafoe's Green Goblin, a man complex in his dichotomy of attempting to be both good and evil. Unfortunately for the fans, the apple falls quite far from the tree. Harry could be played as a conflicted man like his father; one who wants to kill Spider-Man, yet has misgivings because he knows the masked hero's true identity. Instead Harry devolves into one of the flattest and most uninteresting comic book villains in cinema history. This is on display most blatantly in the final film of the trilogy, which ultimately leaves it whimpering and limping to its conclusion, an unfortunate end to an otherwise promising movie franchise.
