Jamie Dornan: 10 Previous Roles You May Have Missed
2. Racing Hearts
Featuring the actor's first Hollywood lead, complete with a real chance to show off an (admittedly hit-and-miss) American accent and an early look at the soon-to-be-Christian Grey in a snappy suit, Racing Hearts - also known as Flying Home - seems like it wouldve made a decent audition tape for getting Dornan the Fifty Shades role. And to think Dornan got this part largely because he got drunk with director Dominique Deruddere back when he was still an unknown. In Racing Hearts, Dornan plays Colin, a Wall Street man who finds himself in rural Belgium while on the search for a racing pigeon for a rich sheikh (yes, really); there, Colin unexpectedly finds love with a local played by Charlotte De Bruyne. Though the actors required to do little more in the film but act smooth and swooningly romantic, its still crucial proof Dornan can hold his own as a feature films anchor.
Lover of film, writer of words, pretentious beyond belief. Thinks Scorsese and Kubrick are the kings of cinema, but PT Anderson and David Fincher are the dashing young princes. Follow Brogan on twitter if you can take shameless self-promotion: @BroganMorris1
