Jason Bateman Joins Vince Vaughn Bromance INSANE LAWS

In perhaps the least surprising casting of the week, Jason Bateman is set to play the straight man in the latest Vince Vaughn bromance comedy Insane Laws at Universal, according to Deadline. The movie tells the story of €œtwo best friends and how their lives are impacted when their grown children fall in love, with one man€™s daughter becoming pregnant by his best friend€™s son.€ Vaughn as a hyper-male, quippy loser (presumably) will play the father to the pregnant daughter and Bateman (presumably) as the neurotic wise-ass, will play the other friend. Basically they have been playing these roles and doing these movies for the past six years and one day in the future you are going to struggle to differentiate one film title from the other. The film was written by Jeremy Garelick, the screenwriter of one of Vaughn's better vehicles The Break-Up who will be making his directorial debut here. Neal Mortiz€˜s Original Film banner produces and the movie will shoot in the fall.
