Jennifer Aniston: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked
1. Nicole Hurvey - The Bounty Hunter
The Bounty Hunter saw Aniston at her absolutely phoned-in, boring, irritating, cynically cash-grabbing worst, and while the film received a Worst Picture Razzie nod, Aniston herself was nominated for both Worst Actress and Worst Screen Couple (in the latter case with Gerard Butler).
Aniston plays Nicole Hurley, an investigative reporter who ends up re-teaming with her bail enforcement agent ex-husband Milo (Gerard Butler), when they are both targeted by separate assassins.
Despite the potential for some sizzling chemistry with Butler, Aniston has never seemed more lost at sea; she's just going through the motions, and this is a rare instance where even her line delivery seems off.
She acts throughout the film as though preoccupied with something else, and it shows in the final product. What should have been sassy and cheeky is boring and, thankfully, quite forgettable (though depressingly, it made $150 million at the box office).
