John Cusack: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

4. Jackson Curtis - 2012

You don't step into a Roland Emmerich movie expecting to pick up an Oscar nom, or even a glowing review come to think of it. Instead, you learn your lines, turn up and endure the chaos. But where perhaps Jeff Goldblum (Independence Day) and Hank Azaria (Godzilla) got the joke, that the script they were working from was as corny as heck, and did something with it, this notion was lost on Cusack who looks like too much staring into the green screen has left him in a state of perpetual hypnosis throughout the film's duration. Definitely one that was done for the money.
