Joker: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

11. Bruce Wayne

As was promised well before release, Bruce Wayne isn't a major presence in Joker. He turns up only a couple of times, once when Arthur goes to Wayne Manor to find out more about the truth of his past and once right at the end in one of the film's most brilliant moments. No spoiling that here.

We all know how great a character Bruce is and there's a lot to be said about how the film portrays a key part of his story, but this is absolutely not his film and he's almost entirely undeveloped as a real character as a result.

There's no fault in the performance really, because there isn't one and there's no reason to really want more of him either. But it's hard to say too much positively about him either.
