After the mammoth undertaking of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Joss Whedon took some hard-earned time off. Hes yet to announce his next film project, leaving his legions of fans to speculate on what the usually-prolific writer/director will work on when he emerges from his moviemaking hibernation. Any film studio on the planet would surely hand Whedon the keys to any of their biggest blockbusters after he raked in almost $3 billion worldwide between his two Avengers movies. But his comments to the press seem to suggest that Whedon is looking for something a bit more personal than another superhero movie or any another franchise film. The biggest thing for me is that I need to do something that I create myself, hes quoted as saying, and hes also expressed his desire to make a movie about one person not a team, not 10, just one. He's described his ideal next project as a nice sort of hard action movie that combined all my favourite things.
