This ones a long shot considering the difficulties Joss Whedon faced with studio interference on Avengers: Age Of Ultron. It has to be said, though: any studio in the industry of making superhero films would surely pay Whedon big money to bring his unique skillset to one of their properties. After incurring some online backlash for his depiction of Black Widow in his second Avengers film, perhaps Whedon could be plotting a solo movie for the super spy to set things right. With Buffy under his belt, few could question Whedons capabilities when it comes to female-headlined storytelling. Equally, Whedon could be planning to dash across the comic book cinema no mans land to work on DC movie for Warner Bros. Hes come pretty close before, writing a Wonder Woman script at one stage and also pitching a Batman idea prior to Chris Nolan landing that gig. His Batman take wouldve seen Bruce Wayne as a death-obsessed kid and introduced a new Hannibal Lecter type bad guy. Hed probably need to rejig those ideas to fit into the current DC film continuity, but it could happen. Far stranger things have happened in Hollywood. So let's mark this one as unlikely, but still possible.
