Jude Law would love to be a Bond villain

So yeah this isn't exactly big news but who cares, I've got Bond fever at the moment... Jude Law was speaking on the British tv show Film 2006 when he claimed that despite constant rumours (come on, every Brit was rumoured at some point!) he was never offered the role of James Bond for the upcoming franchise restart Casino Royale. This is what he had to say... "The Bond part never actually came my way. But then if I ever played James Bond that would rule out ever playing a baddie wouldn't it, and I would love to play a Bond baddie"."What happened to the villains with distorted features? They should come back, they were the best. I could have three nipples or a gross face and a misshapen nose". Law as Bond.....nah couldn't see it. He certainly has the charm but not the required intensity for 007 but I could imagine him as a Bond villain. My favourite performance of his was from Road to Perdition as the sadistic psychopath who took pictures of dead people, most of whom he killed himself. Imagine that characteristic as a Bond villain....that would be something to see. If Law's in the mood for playing a villain, could it be subtle hints of the return of General Zod in the Superman Returns sequel? Those rumours just won't go away. source - E-canadanow, dark horizons
