There's something incredibly sexy about French actress
Julie Delpy. She's absolutely adorable in the
Before Sunrise/
Before Sunset movies and I'll admit I have a bit of a crush on her and her characters.
Fangoria through
Rope of Silicon are telling us that Delpy will star and direct
The Countess, a vampire movie set in the 15th century of Transylvania. Delpy will play a sexy blood countess known as Erzsebet Bathory.
The story will focus on the true facts regarding Bathory, who bathed in the blood of murdered girls in an attempt to retain her youth, as opposed to previous features that extrapolated more literal vampire tales out of them.
Also in the flick will be
Ethan Hawke who she undoubtedly beams with chemistry with every time they are together on screen.
Vincent Gallo (who's perfect fodder for this type of tale) and
Radha Mitchell (the lead from
Silent Hill) will also star. You all know how I love my vampire movies and one with Julie Delpy no less, sounds uber fantastic. Shooting begins this summer on the flick in Eastern Europe.
