I don't necessarily think that Steven Spielberg should direct this thing (nor do I think that's even a plausible option), but the man ultimately makes up two thirds of the entire franchise, and is the person responsible for making Jurassic Park the behemoth that it is today. Although it hasn't been announced officially whether Spielberg will get involved on either a story or a producer level, it would be nice to have somebody who knows exactly how to knock this kind of thing outta the park on board. The man gave us the magic that was Jurassic Park back in '93 - I'm almost certain that any advice or knowledge he can pass on to the person in charge of the fourth installment would be infinitely to their advantage.
