His Role In the Trilogy: John Hammond's grandson Tim in Jurassic Park and a brief appearance early in The Lost World. In the Years That Followed: The actor has frequently popped up on television, appearing in shows like CSI, Without A Trace, Justified and Person Of Interest and the miniseries The Pacific back in 2010. He also starred in Simon Birch the year after The Lost World and in recent years has had roles in films like David Fincher's The Social Network and the 2013 sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. As of 2015: Mazzello is currently still in post-production on the sports dramedy Undrafted, which he wrote, directed and stars in. The films sees the actor portraying a college baseball player based on Mazzello's own brother who is forced to come to terms with the loss of his dream of playing professionally after being passed over in the MLB draft.
