Jurassic Park: Every Death Ranked Worst To Best

16. S.S. Venture Crew

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ofGC2J0yi0 The Movie: The Lost World Method of Death: In the 1997 sequel, big game hunter Roland Tembo managed to bag himself one of the Tyrannosaurs alive and well, giving Peter Ludlow the chance to pull a Carl Denham and have the dinosaur shipped to the mainland where it could be proudly displayed in San Diego. In typical Chaos Theory fashion, the S.S. Venture crashed into the docks where Ludlow had been holding a press conference. On board, security found a number of the crew on the deck and "all over the place" in the cabin. While never explicitly stated, it's implied that the Tyrannosaur had managed to get loose and wreak havoc on the crew before being lured back into its containment and haphazardly shut back inside, though the ongoing mystery of how it succeeded in slaughtering the crew inside the ship's cabin is open to all sorts of interpretation. Whatever the complete story behind the crew's demise may be, their deaths - and the ineptitude of a single man ignoring Ian Malcolm's protestations about opening up the cargo hold - allowed for the Rex to take its stroll through San Diego.
