Jurassic World: 10 Things That Need To Happen In The Sequel

6. No More Kids

The decision to include kids in the original movie really paid off, with some decent performances from the actors playing Lex and Timmy. It also helped that some of the most memorable scenes involved the children as well. The T-Rex attacking the car after it is unleashed by the tropical storm, and Timmy's face as he lifts up his night-vision goggles, have gone down in movie history. That's without even mentioning the raptors in the kitchen scene. That said, perhaps it's best to kick the child actor habit now. The Lost World and Jurassic Park III both failed to present audiences with a child character we could actually care about - in fact Vanessa was probably the most annoying character of the entire franchise. Jurassic World rescued the films from a downward trend and gave it two brothers who the audience could root for without giving them any huge stand-out moments. Maybe it's best to retire the kids from now on. It could also allow the movies to head in a slightly different direction, perhaps with a little more gore and a more adult plot.
