Jurassic World: 10 Things That Need To Happen In The Sequel

5. A Kick Ass Female Character

The franchise hasn't really had a kick ass, iconic female character to date. Accusations were levelled at the director for the apparently misogynistic treatment of Claire Dearing. It's perhaps easy to see why, what with her high heels and white blouse on an island full of escaped dinosaurs. However, Dallas Howard's character certainly held her own during the action sequences and was the film's main character, along with Chris Pratt's Owen, so maybe such claims were alarmist. That said, these are pretty small concessions and a truly badass female character is yet to appear in the franchise. Dallas Howard could reprise her role in a revamped version of her part in Jurassic World or perhaps a new character could be introduced as the park warden, one who will dispense with the make-up and high heels and whip the dinosaurs into shape. There really is space for a character like this if the next film happens, and the potential for offering something completely different means fans would surely lap it up.

Adam Thompson hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
