Jurassic World: 9 Crazy Fan Theories (That Just Might Happen)

4. Remnants Of The Old Park

The original park from the first Jurassic Park film is one of Hollywood's most iconic locales. Jurassic World will be taking place on the same island as the first film, and there's a good chance we'll be revisiting some derelict locations from there. One of the most revealing shots of the trailer shows off the control room for the entire Jurassic World park. Within the shot, it's possible to see the number of visitors (21,216,) the number of staff (2,250,) and even what looks like a hurricane occurring many miles away. Most interestingly, there is a large map visible, which shows a huge 'Sector 5' that's been labelled as a "Restricted Area." One theory is that Sector 5 is where the original park was built, and that the ruined infrastructure still exists there in some shape or form. Whether this is significant in any way is yet to be seen, but returning to the first park is an exciting prospect.
