5. Dodgson Dies Just Like Dennis Nedry
Of the many, many echoes of the original Jurassic Park in this film, perhaps the most blatant and prolonged is the death of Dodgson, who is fatally mauled by a trio of Dilophosaurus in a fashion clearly reminiscent of Dennis Nedry from the first film.
While Dodgson attempts to escape Biosyn Valley, he ends up cornered in an access tunnel by three of the dinos, who promptly spit venom in his face and kill him off-screen.
Sadly it's a mostly empty homage and, despite being the only truly major human death in the whole damn film, pretty damn underwhelming all things considered.
