6. Alan Knows Who Owen Is
More desperate, pandering fan service now, as shortly after Owen and Claire meet up with the O.G. heroes, Owen tells Alan that he knows who he is from listening to his book - well, a book on tape, to be precise.
That's fine and all, but Grant replies by announcing that he's also aware of who Owen is, knowing that he trained raptors at Jurassic World.
Sadly this just feels like an attempt to raise Owen's standing in the franchise by putting him on Grant's radar, even though it's not particularly believable that Alan would know who he is.
Talk about scenes that this movie just didn't need - it's the worst kind of fan service.
