Jurassic World Dominion: 22 WTF Moments
1. That Total Non-Ending
Though Dominion's marketing hailed it as the "epic conclusion" to the Jurassic Saga, it ultimately feels like anything but, particularly as the ending basically leaves things totally open.
Sure, Dr. Wu has eliminated the locust problem and Biosyn's bad actors have been taken down, but the narrative bottom line re: dinosaurs living in the wild is basically "deal with it."
Despite the catastrophic effect it would have on biodiversity and food chains around the world, the globe apparently has to just adapt to living among dinosaurs, which while an interesting idea doesn't really feel like the end of the story in any way whatsoever.
It's basically a given that Universal will make more Jurassic movies in the future, but it's tough to come away from this ending feeling anything other than a deflated, "Is that it?"
