Jurassic World: Dominion Review - 4 Ups & 6 Downs

3. The Malta Chase Is The Easy Highlight

There's really only a single action sequence in the entire film that genuinely gets the pulse racing, and that's the thrilling Malta set-piece in the middle of the movie.

The heroes end up heading to Malta to investigate a dinosaur black market situated there, leading to a genuinely breathless, breakneck sequence in which we finally get to see the dinosaurs let loose in a heavily populated public space.

Throw in gunfights, dinosaurs mauling the hell out of humans, and raptors chasing Owen on a motorcycle, and this is Dominion at its most breezily enjoyable.

For a solid 10 minutes, it feels like what the movie as a whole should've been, but sadly before long we're back to all that nonsense about locusts.
