Jurassic World Reviews: 10 Early Reactions You Need To Know

6. ...But The CGI Can Be Pretty Obvious

Unfortunately, if early reactions to Jurassic World are anything to go by, we can expect more than a few moments of CGI which stand out as being a little too obvious. It's perhaps inevitable that this would be the case - we know the dinosaurs can't possibly be real so we instinctively notice the effects - but there was always the hope that the most obvious CGI moments were confined to those shots in the trailer. Still, while obvious CGI is something of a given in huge Hollywood blockbusters, and Jurassic World is no exception to this rule, for the most part early reviews suggest that this isn't anywhere near as distracting as it could have been, and it actually seems that some of the shots from the trailer which looked dodgy (putting it mildly) have been worked on and improved in recent months. Perhaps it's because audiences have become so accustomed to watching CGI that suspending disbelief is easier than ever - a few moments of obvious-looking CGI in Jurassic World was to be expected and hopefully won't spoil the fun too much.
