Justice League: 10 Huge New Reveals About Zack Snyder's Reshoots
2. Zoom Was Used To Shoot Ezra Miller's Scenes As The Flash
Zack Snyder did a lot with the Flash that didn't make it into Joss Whedon's movie, and it's widely believed that the filmmaker will introduce the concept of the Scarlet Speedster travelling through time in this cut. If past Vero posts are any indication, Barry Allen heads back to the past after the team is defeated by Steppenwolf and he attempts to set things right.
Snyder needed Ezra Miller for his reshoots, but that was complicated by the actor being in London working on the next Fantastic Beasts movie.
Due to current travel restrictions, there was no way for the two to be in the same room at the same time. However, a solution was found courtesy of Zoom. Snyder sent the crew of Fantastic Beasts 3 some drawings of what he needed Miller to do for these extra scenes, and three monitors were then set up that the filmmaker could see on Zoom (showing the set, Miller, and the camera).
It's pretty ingenious, and an indication of how intent the director was to get what he needed so that his vision for Justice League could be completed.
