Justice League: 10 Over-Looked Positives
8. Good Acting
Continuing on the thread of characters, there really isn't a bad performance in the film. Sure, the villain is awful, but what can anyone, even a man of Ciaran Hinds' talent, do with such an underdeveloped CGI blob?
Aside from that, the entire cast is uniformly solid and, in places, downright excellent. Jason Momoa makes for a seriously cool Aquaman and Ray Fisher's nuanced performance as Cyborg is being unfairly overlooked.
But it's Ezra Miller as The Flash who threatens to run away (Sorry) with the entire film, and his geeky, lovable yet crucially human performance allows him to rival Gal Gadot. Have we found the DCEU's second big star?
As for the supporting cast, Jeremy Irons is still brilliant as Alfred Pennyworth, even if he doesn't appear as much as he should. J.K. Simmons in this film suggests a promising future for him as Commissioner Gordon.
Sadly, Amy Adams is still disappointing as Lois Lane (one day, she'll finally get a chance to show off her amazing acting chops in this franchise and actually have something to do) but aside from that, everyone does solid work and no-one goes even close to the nightmarish levels of Cara Delevingne in Suicide Squad.
